MOME FOLDER Cover

Cover design for the yearbook of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.

The flower motif symbolizes the post-pandemic revival, the opening to each other and to the world. The technique chosen for its presentation, linocut, suggests that during the forced closure, many people rediscovered manual techniques that they had not previously had the time or the need to use. The positive outcome of the epidemic is that it has shown that all of this can be worth taking forward and using in our 'new' lives.

The specificity of the technique is also indicated by the numbering 600/1 on the cover: this is how the serial number of the limited edition lino engravings is marked. It is also a gesture to the readers, making each one of them number one.
